Captain, United States Marine Corp Christopher Adam Parente of Highlands Ranch, CO passed away on Monday, October 17, 2016. Christopher was born in Beech Grove, Indiana on March 26, 1977 to Michael Bert and Jane Evon (Seward) Parente. Chris is survived by his wife Colleen Michelle (Murphy) Parente, sons Johnathan Blake and Brayden Christopher, Daughters Madisyn Jeanette and Makayla Renee Parente. Sisters Michelle Evon Runion of Fishers, Indiana and Cynthia Marie Spangler of Plainfield, Indiana. Chris was a graduate of Anderson University (1999) in Anderson, Indiana. He proudly served as a captain in the United States Marine Corp (1999-2003). Chris had served as a deputy sheriff (2004-2015) prior to his current employment with Elavon, Inc. of Englewood, Colorado. Chris was a caring and loving person with many passions in life, but his biggest passion was his family. He loved being a husband and father and was always there for them. Chris was the type of person who would do anything for anyone. This passion for helping people led him to his career in both the military and law enforcement. He was always willing to help those in need no matter the cost. Chris touched many lives and he will undoubtedly be missed forever.
