A Graveside service for Edna Ernestine (Tina) Sox, 90, of Columbia, will be held at 2:00 pm Sunday, February 13, 2011 in Olympia Cemetery, Granby Lane Columbia, SC. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 pm Saturday evening at Greenlawn Funeral Home, 845 Leesburg Road Columbia, SC 29209. Tina passed away on Wednesday, February 9, 2011 at White Oak Manor of Columbia. She was born November 12, 1920 in Lexington, SC to the late Julian Wade Sox and Eloise Sox Callahan. Surviving are her daughter, Joyce D. Robinson of Lake City, SC; a brother, Willie Sox (wife Brenda) of Gaston, SC; three grandchildren, Tina R. Askins (husband Scott), Mitchell Robinson (wife Libby) both of Lake City, and Carroll Robinson of Decatur, GA; five great-grandchildren, Elijah and Paul Robinson, and Joshua, Zachary and Sophia Askins; and numerous nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by an infant son, Bobby Lee Sox; two brothers and two sisters.
