A funeral service celebrating the life of Thelma Elizabeth Richardson, 92, of Columbia will be held at 3:00 p.m. Sunday, July 29, 2012 in Greenlawn Funeral Home Chapel with interment to follow in Greenlawn Memorial Park. The family will receive friends from 2:00 p.m. until the hour of the service on Sunday at Greenlawn Funeral Home. On-line condolences may be sent to www.greenlawn-columbia.com. The family has entrusted Greenlawn Funeral Home with the arrangements. Thelma departed this earthly life on Wednesday, July 25, 2012. She was born on December 20, 1919 to Sampson W. Morse and Hinda Stone Morse. Thelma was a member of First Baptist Church of Columbia for many years. She also retired from Stone Manufacturing Company. Mrs. Richardson was predeceased by her parents, her 1st husband, Carlyle Coker, her 2nd husband Hoyt Richardson, and a son, James W. Coker. Those left to cherish his fond memories are her sons, Edward C. (Sarah) Coker, Robert N. (Sherron) Coker, and Donnie L. (Diane) Coker; two sisters, Earnestine Wickline and Helen Campbell; nine grandchildren, a host of great-grandchildren, other loving relatives and friends that will miss her dearly.
