Richard “Rick” L. Robbins, Jr., went home to be with the Lord after a short illness on August 30, 2014 in Denver, CO. He was born December 15, 1948 in Willcox, AZ to Richard Leroy Robbins Sr. and Vinnie Marie (Miller) Robbins. Rick married his wife, Norma Jean Robbins on November 16, 1996. Throughout his life, Rick worked as the Associate Pastor for the Restoration Christian Center, a Federal Police Officer for Fitzsimons Army Medical Center and served as a Sergeant in the United States Air Force. He was preceded in death by his mother and is survived by: His wife, Norma Jean Robbins; father, Richard, Sr.; children, Penny (Tom) Murdock, Dennis (Lisa) Robbins, Christian (Lane) Wallace, Rick (Laurie) Abbott, David Abbott, John Abbott; 12 grandchildren, 3 great grandchildren, 2 nieces and 2 nephews. Memorial Services for Rick will be held on Thursday, September 18, 2014 at 1:00 pm at the Strasburg Community Church (56155 Sunset Ave., Strasburg, CO 80136). The family requests that no flowers be sent. Condolences may be left at www.allveterans.com.
