CAYCE:Funeral service for John C. Woodall, Sr., 89, will be held at 11 a.m. Monday, January 3, 2011, at Cayce First Baptist Church, officiated by Rev. Kevin Phillips and Rev. Joe Borgkvist. Interment will follow at Southland Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends from 6 until 8pm Sunday, January 2, 2011, at Thompson Funeral Home of West Columbia. Memorials may be made to Cayce First Baptist Church, 600 Holland Avenue, Cayce, SC 29033. Mr. Woodall, husband of Eugenia Hutto Woodall, died Thursday, December 30, 2010. Born in Jefferson, GA, he was a son of the late James Calvin Woodall and Bonnie Sears Woodall. He was a member of Cayce First Baptist Church; former chairman of Deacons, and Sunday School teacher. Mr. Woodall was a U.S. Marine Veteran of WWII. Surviving are his wife, Eugenia Hutto Woodall of Cayce; daughter, Betty Jean Hawes (Denny); sons, John Calvin Woodall, Jr., (Bobbie), Larry Wayne Woodall (Elizabeth) and Michael Glenn Woodall (Jo Ann); seven grandchildren; six great grandchildren.
