Alfred Allison Lewis, 80, went home to be with the Lord Jesus Christ on Wednesday, February 21st 2018 at Parkridge Hospital in Columbia, SC following a 30 year cardiovascular struggle. He leaves the following (Spouse's Names): Grandchildren: Melissa Catherine Paris McElhiney (Mathew) & Elizabeth Ann Paris Labadorf (James), Caitlynn Ruthann Schaub & Megan Michelle Schaub Children: John Carey Lewis (Karen Yates), Mary Catherine 'Cathy' Lewis Paris (Major David Keith), Heather Lynn Lewis Schaub (Rev John Philip) Spouse since December 29th, 1963, 55 years: Judith Ann Radmacher Siblings: Neil Phillips Lewis (Mary McNamera); Gordon Arthur Lewis (Irene McGarity); Lois Jean Lewis (Ralph Steeves [2011]); Cheryl Rose Lewis Daye (David); Carol Ann Lewis Hopper (Leon Hopper [2008]) He descends from Revolutionary War veterans [death date if known]: Parents: John Wesley Lewis [1983] (Primrose May Silk [2007]) Grandparents: Thomas Stewart Lewis [1958] (Alice Julia Neal [1946]) 1. He was ordained a Baptist Minister, served in Moncton, NB, Calgary, AL, Greenville, SC, and Grand Falls-Windsor, NC, Canada. He launched www.christianbeliefs.org later in life and resided in West Columbia, SC at the time of his death. A small group of family and friends will gather for a graveside service on Monday, February 26th at Greenlawn Memorial Park Garden DD, Lot 396, Space 1. He encourages all to share his faith in Jesus Christ who died for the sins of the world. Ephesians 2:8-9 "For by grace you have been saved through faith and this is not of you - [it is] the gift of God; not of works in order that no one might boast." [AAL]
