Melinda Mullins, 65, of Columbia, South Carolina passed away April 21, 2017. She was born on May 11, 1951 in Circleville, Ohio to Irl and Mary McKnight. Melinda worked as a clothing manager for Wal Mart stores for ten years. She enjoyed reading a good book and going to church. Melinda is survived by her husband, Ronald E. Mullins; son, Timothy Mullins; daughter, Amy Mullins; brothers, Terry McKnight and Ronnie McKnight. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, Billy McKnight. The family will greet friends at 1:00 PM at Mt. Elon Baptist Church, 718 Mount Elon Church Rd., Hopkins, SC 29061 on Saturday, April 29, 2017. A memorial service will follow at 2:00 PM. Thompson Funeral Home at Greenlawn Memorial Park is assisting the family.
