July 21st, 1925 - January 4th, 2017
Thomas G. O'Flaherty Jr., 91, of Lexington passed away Wednesday, January 4, 2017. He was born on July 21, 1925 to the late Thomas O'Flaherty Sr. and Mildred Morrissey. In addition to his parents, he is predeceased by his son, two brothers and his sister. Tom was in the Marine Corp and proudly served his country in WWII. Tom is survived by his loving wife of 44 years, Eleanor; daughters, Donna Zeigler (Tom); Lorene Leiter; sister, Marion Cloutier; grandson, John Walden (Steph); two great grandchildren, Lily and Ashley Walden; and numerous nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends at Thompson Funeral Home of Lexington on Saturday, January 7, 2017 from 2 to 5 p.m. Funeral services will be at Thompson Funeral Home, Lexington Chapel on Sunday, January 8, 2017 at 1 p.m. Memorials may be made to the The Alzheimer's Foundation of America, 322 Eighth Ave., 7th fl., New York, NY 10001.
