Mary Lee Oswalt, 94, West Columbia passed away Monday October 10, 2016. She was born on November 15, 1921 in Lexington, SC to the late Thomas Jefferson Steele and Annie Belle Risinger Steele. She retired from Textiles and was a member of Crossroads Baptist Church. Mary is survived by two sons, Edwin "Ray" Oswalt and James Lamar Logan; two sisters, Cathrine Holliday and Sadie Howard; grandchildren; great- grandchildren; and great-great-grandchildren. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her first husband, JP Logan; and second husband, McCoy Oswalt; two brothers, Roy Steel and Larry Steele; and a grandson, Edwood Logan. The family will receive friends Saturday from 6p.m. until 8p.m. October 15, 2016 at Thompson Funeral Home of West Columbia. Funeral services will be at 2p.m. Sunday October 16, 2016 at Crossroads Baptist Church. Burial will follow in Celestial Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Crossroads Baptist Church, 2500 Sunset Blvd., West Columbia, SC 29169.
