John Kayton, 62 of Pelion, SC passed away peacefully on September 23, 2016. He was born on January 6, 1954 in Columbia, SC to the late Harold & Helena Kayton. John is survived by his 2 loving sons, John (Amanda) Kayton of Lexington, SC and Scott (Melissa) Kayton of Pelion, SC and their mother Nell Pownall of Columbia, SC, his brother Erwin (Lisa) Kayton of Charlotte, NC, Niece Kristina (Luis) Nieves of Charlotte, NC, Grandaughters Brianne, Bailie, Ashlynn and Grandson Charlie Kayton and many friends. The family will receive friends for a memorial service at 5pm Monday September 26, 2016 at Calvary Community Church at 4045 Calvary Road West Columbia. The family would like to thank the staff of FMC Lexington Dialysis for the care of their dad. In lieu of flowers the family will be accepting monetary donations.
