March 18th, 1927 - July 9th, 2016
Lorene Madge Inman, 89, of Columbia, passed away Saturday, July 9, 2016 at Heartland of Columbia, after a long illness. She was born on March 18, 1927 in Leesville, South Carolina to the late Shelton and Bessie Reinhart Derrick. Mrs. Inman is survived by her husband, Grover Inman; and a son, Jimmy W. Creamer, Sr. (Priscilla); grandsons, Jimmy W. Creamer, Jr., John C. Stillings and Thomas F Stillings; granddaughters, Denice Smith and Julie K Stillings; great-grandchildren, Jimmy "JC" W. Creamer, III, Gavin C. Creamer, Ruby K. Stillings and Kendall E. Stillings; and a sister, Patricia D Lee. Lorene was predeceased by a daughter, Shirley Lorene Creamer; and granddaughter, Teresa Lorene Smith; and six brothers and sisters. Funeral services will be at 2:00PM on Wednesday July 13, 2016 at Thompson Funeral Home, West Columbia Chapel 200 State Street in West Columbia. Burial will follow in Crescent Hill Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends from 1:00 PM prior to the service at the funeral home.
