Glenn Setser
June 30th, 1921 - April 23rd, 2012
Glenn E. Setser, 90, passed away Monday, April 23, 2012 with his family at his side. A memorial service and celebration of his life will be held at 10 a.m. Wednesday at Fort Logan cemetery, staging area A. Following the ceremony, family and friends are invited to gather at 5022 E Fremont, Littleton, CO. Glenn Setser was born June 30, 1921, in Vermejo Park, New Mexico, and grew up in Rocky Ford, Colo. He was the son of Carol W. Setser and John G. Setser. A World War II veteran, earning 3 bronze stars, 1 purple heart, and 7 presidential citations, Glenn served in the U.S. Army from June 1942- Oct.1945, in the 99th Chemical Mortar division. He spent the majority of his life living and working in Pueblo, Colo. for the Alpha Beta meat packing company. Glenn was a lifelong Dallas Cowboys fan and, though he lived there only briefly, deeply loved the state of Texas. He is survived by 2 brothers, Calvin Setser and Sandy Fuller, 4 children: Regina Setser, Atlanta, Ga., Cindalee Setser, Aurora, Co., Twana Setser, Littleton, Co. Terry Setser, Aurora, Co; and 5 grandchildren: Nicole LeCuyer (mother, Cindalee), Steamboat Springs, Co., Jenai LeCuyer (mother, Cindalee), Boulder, Co., Kevin Guisinger (mother, Twana), Linzy Setser (father, Terry, stepmother, Cindy Shelly), Aurora, Co., and Jaxon Setser (father, Terry, stepmother, Cindy Shelly) Aurora, Co. He was pre-deceased by his brother and two sisters. In lieu of flowers, please send donations in the name of Glenn Setser to either St. Joseph’s Indian School, P.O. Box 100, Chamberlain S.
