Our beloved April Lucinda Anderson, 60, passed away on Monday, June 3, 2024, in the City of Maricopa, AZ. Ms. Anderson was born on March 16, 1964, in Chicago, IL to Odie and Brenda (Teague) Anderson.
She is survived by her father, her brothers, Odie Anderson, Jr. and Courtenay Anderson, and eight nieces and nephews, as well as friends she considered family.
April with her wonderful smile and her larger-than-life spirit, lit up every room she walked into. She was joyous and felt blessed.
She loved to cook. She was amazing with it. The best part for her was watching her loved ones enjoy, reaping the rewards of her hard labor. For her, it was more than just pleasing the palate (delish), but more of bringing everyone together, sharing the love and feeding the soul.
She also had an extensive love for music. She expressed herself best through this avenue. From rock to hip hop, from country to reggae, and everything in between. A rainbow spectrum.
We'll remember her as being exuberant, energetic, kind, giving and loving.
She will be missed by all who know her.

Memorial services will be held on June 30th, 2024, Sunday, 10AM to 12Noon, at Legacy Funeral Home - Chandler, 1374 N. Arizona Ave., Chandler, AZ 85225.
