Mike G. Trulos was born March 14, 1932. Mike grew up in Sunny Side Utah with his father, mother and sister. He enlisted in the Army where he served for 7 years. He was stationed at Fort Belvoir Virginia. On one of his many trips into Washington D.C., he met the love of his life, Edna L. Smith. They were married on November 4, 1956. Their family grew with the addition of five children: Cindy Norman, Michael and Suni Trulos, Annette and Rocky Biggs, Tracey and Don Brown. Mike was very blessed with 11 grandchildren, and 9 great grandchildren. Mike was preceded in death by parents Mike and Frances, son George, and son-in-law Dave. Mike began a career as a truck driver after leaving the Army. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, and growing his garden every year. He had many stories to tell of his life and adventures that will live on in all of us. Private family services will be held at Fort Logan National Cemetery, 3698 S. Sheridan Blvd., Denver, Colorado 80236 on Friday, February 22, 2013 at 1:30 pm. Public services will be held at the VA Medical Center Chapel, 1055 Clermont St., Denver, Colorado 80220 on Saturday February 23, 2013 at 10:00 am. You are welcome to join the family for a lunch to celebrate Mike’s life at Gala Gardens, 8383 Rosemary St., Commerce City, CO 0220 at 12:30 pm.
