Loretta Takacs
July 25th, 1935 - February 15th, 2017
Loretta A. Takacs, aged 81, died peacefully on February 15, 2017 after a brief illness. Loretta was born July 25, 1935 in Cleveland, Ohio, the daughter of Stanley Baginski and Stella Good. In October, 1989, Loretta married Louis Takacs. Together they started their lives in Parma, Ohio and after both of them retired, decided to begin a new adventure in Colorado Springs, Colorado, enjoying her life as a homemaker. Her hobbies included crocheting, crosssword puzzles and watching her favorite football team, the Dallas Cowboys play. Loretta is preceded in death by her parents, brother Thaddeus Baginski, sister Roberta Heberlein and nephew David Heberlein. She is survived by her sisters Joanne Cain and Patricia Short of Ohio. Son Peter Mayes of Ohio, daughter Mary Mayes Bell (Clinton) of Highland Village, Texas, grandchildren Courtney Nall (Andrew) of Dallas, Texas and Douglas Bell (Jillian) of Plano, Texas and great grandchild Hendricks Rylan Bell, daughter Rebecca Guarino (David) of Spring, Texas, grandchildren Ryan Warman Davis (Sean), Ali Warman Travers (Kevin), Dominik and Anthony Guarino and Rhonda Seskar (Mark) of Colorado Springs, Colorado and Tammy Lippert (who will miss her “Auntie Mom”) of Ohio. Loretta also had 10 nieces and nephews. Our beloved mother, grandmother and great Grammy will dearly be missed.
