Ernestine (Grace) Valdez – 76, of Denver, a beloved wife, mother, sister, teacher and friend passed away June 7, 2016. She was born on February 28, 1940, in Gulnare, Colo., to Frank and Manulita Belarde, who preceded her. Survived by her husband of 42 years, Michael, her three children Lisa (Ralph), Michael and Frank (Angela), her grandchildren, Alex, Marcus, Joshua, Alena, Joseph and Emily, along with her siblings, Dolores Garcia, John Lucero and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
