Richard Russell Wolfe, 87, died December 11th, 2013. A funeral service will be held at Fort Logan National Cemetery in Denver, Colorado on Monday, December 16th at 12:15 pm. A reception at his daughter’s house in Golden, Colorado will follow the service. Richard was born on November 2, 1926 in Clearfield County, Pennsylvania, to Perry and Regina Wolfe. He worked as a professor at the University of Northern Colorado in the area of Rehabilitation Counseling. It was his mission in life to help people through life’s challenges, whether physical or financial. Dick is survived by his Son, John Wolfe, PhD, and his wife Kat and son’s Jack and Peter. He is also survived by his Daughter, Christina Vessely, PhD, and her husband Mark, son Tanner and daughter Elsa. The family requests donations to the charity Wounded Warriors or to the Craig hospital foundation in lieu of flowers.
