Andrew Whitfield

Andrew was the son of the late Andrew Jackson and the late Pauline Williams. He was also raised by his beloved grandmother, Elouise Lewis, whom he shared a special relationship. He graduated from Chicago Vocation High School on June 23, 1964 and joined the United States Army. He served in Vietnam twice and was honorably discharged. He is a graduate from Roosevelt University where he received his Bachelor’s degree in History. He later received his Master’s in Industrial Arts from the University of Northern Colorado. He taught history, industrial arts, and coached football for Jefferson County Public Schools. Andrew is survived by his wife, Lynn; his daughters, Annette, Corrie, and Andrea and granddaughter, Ashlee Taylor. We will miss him deeply but are happy that he is now free.
