Marjory Wegscheider
September 14th, 1935 - November 24th, 2018
Marjory (Marge) Wegscheider passed away peacefully on November 24, 2018. She was born on September 14, 1935 in Ft. Scott, Kansas. She graduated from Ft. Scott High School in 1953 and then attended Ft. Scott Junior College. She received a Bachelor of Arts Degree from Colorado Christian University in 1991. Marge was a dedicated wife and caregiver to her husband (Chuck) of 55 years. They moved from Kansas to Colorado in 1962 where they raised their two sons in Northglenn. She was a loving mother and grandmother. Marge worked at various jobs throughout her married life but her priority was always spending time with Chuck and her family. Marge volunteered at the Arvada Food Bank for several years and also helped kids in the community with the local school back pack program. She enjoyed tole painting, going to craft shows, bridge, traveling and golf. She was a great storyteller and loved to read. Marge was preceded in death by her husband and best friend, Chuck. She is survived by her two sons, Brad (Kathi) of Lakewood, Colorado, and Scott of Thornton, Colorado; three grandchildren, Brandy, Brent and Chad; and her sister and brother-in-law, Dorothy & Bill Baker of Pittsburg, Kansas. The family will be having a memorial service later in the spring of 2019. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to PKD Foundation at pkdcure.org/tribute or checks can be mailed to the PKD Foundation (Please include a notation “in memory of Marge Wegscheider”).
