Harold F. Zimbelman born in Sterling, CO. on March 10, 1938. He passed away at his home in Lakewood, CO. on September 17, 2016. He is proceeded in death by his grandparents Jakob and Margaret Zimbelman, his parents Harold and Alice Zimbelman and his younger brother Earl (Skook) Zimbelman. He is survived by his wife of 57 years Karen L. Zimbelman of Lakewood, CO. His son Darrell and his wife Mary Zimbelman of Virginia, his son Scott and his wife Julie Zimbelman of Denver, CO. and his daughter Kari and her husband Stephen White of Lakewood, CO. His eight grandchildren Nicole, Erica, Anna, Danika, Joseph, Ethan, Alyson and Luke. He is also survived by his sister Margaret (Peggy) and her husband Donald Graham, his sister in law Mary Sue Zimbelman (Earl Zimbelman), all of Denver, CO, his aunt Lilian Ryan of Arizona and his nephew Leon and his wife Gina Wittner of Broomfield, CO. Great nieces and nephews Sara, Grace, Alexis, Miranda, Prisilla, Anthony, Samuel and Yoanna and great great nephew Jaziel. He received two Bachelors and two Masters degrees from the University of Colorado, Boulder. He was a retired Aerospace and Civil Engineer and Professor. He was active in a Model Railroad club, a member of the Colorado Railroad Museum and on the Board of the Home Owners Association at the Inn at Silvercreek, Grandby, CO.
