Dan Bruce Clay of Strasburg, CO, 79, passed away at his home on October 2, 2008. he was born November 6, 1928 in Eagle Butte, SD, to Hattie and Kiner Clay. He grew up in Spearfish, SD, and graduated from high school in Camdenton, MO. Dan served in the Army during the Korean War where he was a medic in M*A*S*H 8067. He joined Braniff Airlines in 1947 where he worked for 35 years in both Kansas City and Denver. Dan married Gena Sue Morgan on February 16, 1957; they were blessed with three children and moved their family to Denver in 1965. He was an avid hunter and fisherman as well as a wonderfully dedicated grandfather. Dan is preceded in death by his parents and six siblings (three brothers and three sisters). He is survived by his loving wife, Sue, of fifty-one years; three sons, Blake (Dana) of Deer Trail, CO; Bill of Fort Worth, TX; Bruce of Marietta, GA; 4 grandchildren, Devon, Kyner, Adriana and Michelle, of Deer Trail, CO; brother-in-law, Ken Morgan of Bossier City, LA; numerous neices and nephews and many friends. A Celebration of Life Memorial Service will be held on November 6, 2008 at 10:00 AM in recognition of his 80th birthday at Strasburg Community Church, 56155 Sunset Avenue, Strasburg, CO 80136, followed by a wake at the American Legion Hall, 56423 Westview Avenue.
