April 18th, 1929 - December 25th, 2016
Thelma Fern Corley of Denver, Colorado, 87, passed away on December 25, 2016. She was born to Frank and Fern Jordan in Kansas on April 18, 1929. She is survived by daughter, Gayle (Jerry) Macklberg, granddaughter, Kerri Van Horne, sister, Frances Day, and like family, Deborah Jones and Candice Marquart. She was preceded in death by her husband of 65 years, Keith Corley, son, Roy Corley, her parents and her brothers, Lloyd, Billy and Leroy. In addition to being a loving mother and grandmother, she enjoyed her career in retail selling jewelry and collectables before retiring several years ago. She was a lover of all animals and was an avid collector of antiques and Native American art. A memorial service will be held at Fort Logan National Cemetery on Friday, December 30 at 9:00 AM. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Denver Dumb Friends League or charity of your choice.
