Raul Castillo
January 17th, 1930 - May 26th, 2018
Raul Castillo, 88, of Westminster, Colorado peacefully joined our Creator after a bout with cancer on Saturday, May 26, 2018. He was born in Saginaw, MI, in January of 1930, to the late Carmen and Juaquin Castillo. Raul received a bachelor’s degree in Computer Management from Metro State College. He married April 1948 and celebrated his 70th wedding anniversary in 2018. Raul was a beloved member of Thrive Church and was re-baptized on April 25, 2018. He was a WWII veteran and served in the Army/Air Force. Raul is survived by wife: Dora Castillo; six children: Margaret Arellano; Sarah Avila; David Castillo; Richard Castillo; Becky Ortiz; Rachel Fritchel, all from Colorado; sisters: Mela Castel; Vita Gutierrez; Rose Castillo; Maggie Rodriquez; Emelinda Rodriquez. He is also survived by fifteen grandchildren, fifty-six great grandchildren, and twenty-four great-great-grandchildren.
