June 22nd, 1955 - January 11th, 2017
Ronald Floyd Ashlock Jr. “Ash” age 61 passed away on Wednesday January 11, 2017 from injuries sustained in a car accident. Ron was born June 22, 1955 in Colorado Springs, Colorado. Ron was preceded in death by his only child Zachary Ian Ashlock. Ronald is survived by his parents, Ronald Floyd Ashlock Sr. and L. Delores Ashlock of Centennial, Colorado. Sister Sharon (Clint) Anthis and niece Bethney Anthis of Patoka, Indiana. Brother Walter (Debra) Ashlock of Littleton, Colorado. Sister Denise (Larry) Clapp of Longmont, Colorado, niece Shannon (Lou) Martinez of Aurora, Colorado, niece Andrea (Chris) Gatchis of Highlands Ranch, Colorado, and great nieces and nephews. Brother Martin (Linda) Ashlock of Colorado Springs, Colorado. Niece and nephews, great nieces and nephews. Sister Eileen (Jack) Allison of Springfield, Ohio, nephews and great nieces and nephews. Ron is survived by his constant companion Tazman; his faithful, loving support dog. After graduating from high school, he enlisted in the United States Navy. Ron was awarded the National Defense Service Medal, the Battle “E” Award and the Good Conduct Medal. Ron was honorably discharged as an E5 Petty Officer Second Class.
