Curtis James Davis was born in Seattle, WA on December 4, 1940. He died on October 4, 2017, at his home surrounded by his loving family. When Curtis was seven years old he became a part of the Rev Bob and Louise Duggan family along with their daughters Carolyn, Virginia, Sharon and Colleen. Curtis graduated from high school in Craig, Colorado in 1959. He attended Multnomah School of the Bible in Portland, Oregon and Fort Lewis College in Durango, Colorado before joining the Air Force in 1964. On February 4, 1966, he married LaDora Plemons in Durango Colorado. After his discharge from the Air Force in 1968, he began his career with Western and Delta Airlines based in Denver, Colorado until his retirement in 2003. Curtis was preceded in death by his parents Bob and Louise Duggan. He is survived by his wife LaDora at the family home in Aurora, CO, daughter Heidi (Randy) Davis of Lakewood, CO, son Troy (Rebekah) Davis of Aurora, CO, granddaughters Antonia and Abriella Davis, sisters Carolyn (Robin) Pease, Virginia (Allen) Anderson, Sharon (Russ) Wilson, Colleen Dinkel, and birth sisters Dorothea (Larry) Albrecht, Alice Church and Jean Elliott. Curtis’ earliest memories were times of hunger, deprivation, and poverty. He never wanted to see others suffer these needs so he was a faithful supporter of the Denver Rescue Mission.
