Keith Dobbs
October 16th, 1943 - March 18th, 2019
Keith Richard Dobbs of Colorado Springs, Colorado, was born in Madison, MN on October 16, 1943. In his younger years, he enjoyed motorcycle riding, rebuilding cars, and tinkering around in the garage. He had a passion for antique cars and boats and loved to go to races of any kind. In 1973, he married Bessie Joyce Eversole. The two bought a small cabin on the lake in Lakeville, MN where they spent most of their lives. Over the years, they renovated the small cabin in to their family home. They had 2 sons while they lived in Lakeville, Raymond Dobbs and a year later Clayton Dobbs. Keith loved spending time with his children and getting into trouble with them. Keith had a huge heart and was a father figure to many, many people. He enjoyed sharing his vast knowledge of anything trivia with anyone who would listen. He loved being outdoors and most any animal, many of which he had as pets. Keith was proud to be an Airman in the United States Air Force from 1966-1970. He spent most of his enlisted time on the West coast of the USA. When he settled down with his wife he worked for the US Postal service until his retirement. After retirement Keith, Bessie and Raymond moved to Colorado Springs, CO to be closer to Clayton’s family including his grandson, Joseph. Keith is survived by his wife, Bessie Dobbs, sons Raymond Dobbs and Clayton (Kathleen) Dobbs, grandson Joseph Dobbs, Sister Roberta Stapelton, Brothers Victor Christensen, Robert Christensen, Brother Paul Christensen and many other extended family and friends. He passed at home surrounded by his family on March 18, 2019.
