Richard Merrill Ellison, 61, of Thornton, Co passed away at home on July 4, 2013 with his loving family by his side. Richard was born on July 23, 1951 in Norman, Oklahoma to Ernest Richard Ellison and Doris May Merrill Ellison. Richard will forever be remembered for his patriotism, sense of humor, as a source of inspiration and love of nature’s beauty. Richard is survived by his wife Kendra Ellison of Thornton CO, Son Richard Michael Ellison of San Antonio TX, Stepchildren Christopher DeHart and Nissa DeHart of Thornton CO, Grandchildren Kylie DeHart and Jackson Nelson of Thornton CO, Mother Doris LeFluer of Westminster CO, Brothers Ernest (Gene) Ellison of Springdale AK and Kenneth (Ed) Ellison of Northglenn CO. A Memorial Service will be held at Ft. Logan National Cemetery on Friday July 12, 2013 at 1:00p. Staging Area A (arrive by 12:45p) 3698 S. Sheridan Blvd. Denver, CO 80235.
