All Veterans Funeral & Cremation - Wheat Ridge
Dorothy Eymann
August 20th, 1923 - July 30th, 2017
Dorothy age 93, was received into the arms of God on July 30, 2017. A loving mother to three children, Larry, Susan, and Peggy, devoted wife of 66 years to Frank Eymann, and the kindest person you have ever met to all she encountered. Dorothy started her working career at Mutual of Omaha working as a stenographer and office administrator. Once Frank returned home from World War II, she left the corporate world and devoted the rest of her life as a homemaker and devoted mother to three children. Frank and Dorothy moved their family from Omaha Nebraska to Aurora Colorado in the early 1950s and remained there for the rest of their lives. Dorothy loved the mountains of Colorado and traveled frequently to her favorite destination, the Hawaiian islands. Don Eymann, her eldest grandson, was able to make a moving tribute to Dorothy and for all her surviving family, by sending off a Hawaiian lei into the beautiful blue waters off the coast of Hawaii. The memory she left with all she knew and loved, was that she would always place herself last so that other’s wishes and wants would always be met to ensure their happiness first. She will be missed by all that knew and loved her so dearly. Dorothy is survived by her 3 children, 7 grandchildren, and 11 great grandchildren.
