Joyce A. West

Joyce A. West, age 84, passed away comfortably at her home in Golden Gate Canyon on August 19, 2020. She was born October 15, 1935 in Denver, Colorado to parents Kenneth and Oreta Vetting. Joyce graduated from Arvada High School in 1953. She married the love of her life Robert “Bob” Glen West on March 20, 1955. They lived in Arvada, Colorado where they raised two sons. Joyce was a loving, compassionate, gentle soul. She made friends easily and people did not forget her. Joyce always went out of her way to help others. Her generosity knew no boundaries. Joyce is survived by her husband Bob, her two sons Steve (Diana) and Scott (Amy), grandchildren Jake (Jessica), Katy Jo, Tanner and Clay (Skylar) three great grandchildren Jaxyn, Xander and Amelia Kate. Joyce also has a brother Jim Vetting (Michele). She loved every one of them with everything she had and touched them in many different ways. Mom, your memory will live in our hearts forever.
