OBITUARY FOR HELEN EDITH (PURCELL) MURPHY June 23, 1924 – May 4, 1921 Helen E Murphy (age 96) of Littleton, Colorado passed away on May 4, 2021. She was born in Denver, Colorado on June 23, 1924. She attended Denver schools, graduating from East High School and attended Denver University. On August 24, 1944 she was married to Charles Murphy, who proceeded her in death. She was also proceeded in death by their son, Joseph Wesley Murphy. She is survived by her daughter Linda (Grant) Christensen of Johnstown, Colorado, and David (Sue) of Panama, 6 Grandchildren, and 9 Great Grandchildren. She was a member of Phillips United Methodist Church in Lakewood, Colorado. If desired, donations may be made to Phillips United Methodist Church 1450 S Pierce St, Lakewood, CO 80222 or Dumb Friends League. Memorial Services will be at Phillips United Methodist Church on May 24, 2021 at 10:00am. Burial will be at Fort Logan National Cemetery (attended by family only).
