Robert "Bob" Dean Martinez

Robert Dean Martinez, born on February 4, 1950, in Denver, Colorado, peacefully entered heaven on November 11, 2023. He was the son of David Martinez and Soledad Rodriguez. A devoted father, Robert is survived by his loving children: Jody Garcia, Robert Martinez Jr. (Marion Massey), Paul Martinez (Dawn Martinez), and Albert Martinez (Kaylee Garcia). His legacy includes 17 grandchildren and one great-grandson. In addition to his immediate family, Robert is fondly remembered by his sister, Vickie Macdonald (John Macdonald), many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. Robert was preceded in death by his parents and his brother, Dave Martinez (Florence Martinez). An honorable Army veteran, Robert served his country with distinction, reaching the rank of Sergeant and earning the National Defense Service Medal. His commitment to duty and service resonated throughout his life. Beyond his military service, Robert found joy in riding his bicycle with his boys, indulging in his passion for watching TV and movies, pursuing his hobby as an avid coin collector, and immersing himself in the world of books. If you knew Bob, you understood that he was a man with a multifaceted personality—someone you either hated or loved. Robert's devotion as a father, grandfather, and great-grandfather, coupled with his diverse interests, defined his rich and fulfilling life. His memory will endure in the hearts of those privileged to have known him. May he rest in eternal peace.
