Carolyn E Beach, 88, died on June 8, 2024, with her daughters at her bedside.
Carolyn was born March 28, 1936 in Lafayette, Georgia to the late Amanda and Samuel Johnson.
She worked for the Federal Civil Service for 27 years, retiring in 1992. After her retirement, Carolyn traveled around the country with her husband and various grandchildren, doing genealogy. She also enjoyed reading, listening to music, singing, dancing, and doing crafts.
Carolyn is survived by her daughters, Karen and Carol; her grandchildren Keith (Tiffany), Ramona (Obaid), Sabrina, and Andre (Jacqui); eleven great-grandchildren; six great-great-grandchildren; and two sisters, Ann and Sylvia.
Carolyn was preceded in death by her parents; husband, James; brothers, Charles and James; a sister, Joyce; and great-granddaughter, Kameron.
Celebration of Life, 1:00PM, Saturday, August 10, 2024, Calvary United Methodist Church, 4210 Austin Bluffs Parkway, Colorado Springs, Colorado 80918.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to the Alzheimer’s Association in her name.
