Barbara Jean Fish, 72, Sturgeon Lake, was ready and happy to move on to join her heavenly Father, Son, and Holy Ghost and to have a Heavenly reunion with her mother and son on Thursday, July 10, 2003. She was born February 13, 1931 in Hastings, MN, the daughter of Raymond and Lucile (Danielson) Rolle. Barbara was a 1949 graduate of Cloquet High School and she married Herbert Fish on August 23, 1949 in Carlton. She provided day care from her home for a number of years. She was an active member of the Homemakers Club and served as it's Vice President and President and enjoyed playing Scrabble, knitting, crocheting and loved visiting with her neighbors, family and friends. She was preceded in death by her son, Todd Fish on June 9, 1983; her mother and step-father, Lucile and George White; her father, Raymond Rolle and two brothers, David and Richard White. Barbara is survived by her husband of 54 years, Herbert, of Sturgeon Lake; two daughters, Sandra (Gerald) Swanson of Wrenshall and Robin Fish of Brooklyn Park; four grandchildren, Matthew and Jessica Langer and Caleb and Maija Swanson; a brother, Terrence (Sue) White of Pensacola, FL and numerous nieces, nephews, family members and friends. Per Barbara's request, no public service will be held. A private family ceremony has taken place. Arrangements entrusted to Northland Funeral Home, 801 14th Street, Cloquet.
