September 19th, 1924 - November 26th, 2014
Dora Alvina (Amborn) Ahlgren, 90 of Twig, died peacefully on Wednesday, November 26, 2014 with her loved ones by her side. She was born on September 19, 1924 to Oscar and Amanda Amborn. She was preceded in death by her husband, Arne in 1981; four brothers; one great granddaughter; and two sons-in-law. Dora is survived by her four children, Ardis Greenwood, Ardythe (Bob Schilling) Graves, Alvina (David) Reim and Ardell Miller; sister, Sarah Trader; brothers, Roy Amborn and Elmer (Joyce) Amborn; 7 grandchildren; 13 great grandchildren; 1 great great granddaughter; many step-grandchildren; and one bonus son, Douglas (Nancy) Carlson. The family would like to thank the staff of Viewcrest Health Center. Funeral service were held on Monday, December 1, 2014 in Atkins-Northland Funeral Home, 801 14th Street, Cloquet Burial was in St. John's Cemetery in Saginaw.
