Teresa Yvonne Whiting, 62 of Floodwood passed away on Sunday, February 21, 2016 in her home. She was born on April 22, 1953 in Nome, Alaska. At six weeks of age she was adopted by Verdin and Norma Liddell. She lived in Alaska the first seven years of her life and due to her father's job with the federal government, the family moved around a lot. Teresa graduated from high school in Topeka, Kansas in 1971. After high school she joined the Air Force where she worked as a nurse. After the service she lived in various places and worked different occupations. Teresa married Kenneth Whiting in 2008 but they had been together since 1996. Most recently she worked as a cashier at Walmart in Cloquet. Teresa is survived by her husband, Ken; children, Chris Neeb of Sioux Falls, South Dakota, Cheri (Chuck) Smith of Rossville, Georgia, Sarah Maxwell of Kansas City, Missouri, and Kipp (Jenny) Maxwell of Spring Hill, Kanas; and 8 grandchildren. The family will receive friends from 5:30 - 8:00 p.m. on Friday, February 26, 2016 with a time of sharing at 7:00 p.m. in the Cromwell Pavilion, 5577 Cromwell Park Dr., Cromwell.
