January 7th, 1923 - December 15th, 2005
Kenneth Bernard Jones, 82, formerly of Floodwood, died Thursday, December 15, 2005 in Inter-Faith Care Center, Carlton. He was born January 7, 1923 in Virginia, MN, the son of Albert and Helia (Autio) Jones. He married Bonnie Reed on July 19, 1952 in Mahtowa. Ken was a logger, drove a milk truck for Clark Bros. and had been employed for Superwood in Duluth. He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother, Peter. Kenneth is survived by his wife of 53 years, Bonnie of Brookston; a son, Dennis of Duluth; two grandchildren, Misty and David; 3 great grandchildren; four sisters-in-law Terry Kujawa of St. Paul, Donna (Royce) Sullinger of Cloquet, Carol (Richard) Pfisthner of Lake Nebagamon, WI and Joyce (Robert) Ober of Overgaard, AZ and a brother-in-law, Alvin (Gert) Reed of Mankato. The family extends a special thank you to the sisters-and brother-in-law for all of their loving care. Funeral services were held on Monday, December 19, 2005 in Northland Funeral Home, 801 14th Street, Cloquet. Interment was in Forest Hill Cemetery, Van Buren Township, MN.
