Samuel Francis Hubbell
February 24th, 1919 - May 6th, 2002
Samuel Francis Hubbell, 83 of Cloquet died Monday, May 6, 2002 in Community Memorial Hospital in Cloquet. He was born in Frazee, Minnesota and moved to Cloquet as a young boy. Sam was an Army veteran of WWII serving in Guam. He was a pipe fitter working in construction in Indiana for many years. After his retirement, he moved to Michigan and later returned to Cloquet. Sam was a member of the Cloquet VFW Post 3979. Sam was preceded in death by his wife, Shirley; brothers, L.J., Ted, Wilford, Huck, Carmen, Alfred, Charlie and Ralph; sisters, Gladys Kramer and Sylvia Joseph. He is survived by numerous nieces and nephews. There will be no funeral service per Sam's request. Burial will be in Fort Snelling National Cemetery in Minneapolis. Arrangements entrusted to Northland Funeral Home, 801 14th St. in Cloquet.
