Ernest Eldrige Bruneau

Ernest Eldrige "Bud" Bruneau, 81 of Mahtowa died Sunday, March 12, 2006 in his home. He was born September 14, 1924 in Brooks, MN the son of Eldrige and Amy (Paulin) Bruneau. He served in the Army during World War II. On April 14, 1947 Ernest married Clara Louise Olds in Aitkin and they made their home in Mahtowa. He was employed at Conwed Corp. from 1952 until retiring in 1985. He was preceded in death by his parents, a brother and a sister. Ernest is survived by his wife, Clara of Mahtowa; sons, Ernie (Janet) Bruneau of Alamogordo, NM, David (Dorothy) Bruneau of Cloquet, Ronald Bruneau of Mahtowa; daughters, Laura (Fred) Dahms, of Barnum and Judy Bruneau of Fairborne, OH; grandchildren, Chad Burridge, Eli Horton, Dustin Schwoch, Chris Bruneau, Matt Bruneau, Jake Schwoch, Kimberly Shepherd, Connie Schwoch, Lisa Bruneau and Jenny Schwoch and two great grandchildren. Visitation will be Thursday, March 16, 2006 from 3 until the 4 p.m. memorial service in Northland Funeral Home, 801 14th St., Cloquet. A time of refreshments and fellowship will follow in the Fireside Room of the funeral home.
