Arlin Irving Debele
May 21st, 1937 - April 27th, 2018
Arlin Irving Debele, 80, of Cloquet, died unexpectedly Friday, April 27, 2018 in St. Luke's Hospital, Duluth. He was born May 21, 1937 in Britton, SD, the son of Irving and Dorothy Debele. Arlin was a 1955 graduate of Esko High School. Following the death of his wife, Donna, Arlin married Emily Boeke on January 13, 1996. From 1969 - 1980, he was a co-owner of Lakeland Oil & Tire Co. and from 1980 until his retirement in August 2000, Arlin was the owner of Cloquet Radiator Repair in Cloquet. During his retirement, Arlin was a directors' assistant for Atkins-Northland Funeral Home. He was a member of Golden K Kiwanis, a long-time member of Our Savior's Lutheran Church in Cloquet and was a past president of Minnesota Square Dance Association. He was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Donna in 1995; and his son, Dean. Arlin is survived by his wife, Emily of Cloquet; children, Bruce (Teri) Debele of Maple Grove, Gary (Kim Tolman) Debele of Minnetonka, and Jacki (Steve) Gould of Maple Grove; grandchildren, Katie Debele, Jordan McCullum (Jamie Fisher), Jeff (Pam) Debele, MacKenzie McCullum, Madeleine Debele, Madison Gould, and Polina Gould; brothers, Larry (Dede) Debele of Cromwell, LeRoy (Lynn) Debele of North Branch; sisters, Eloise Boily of Ponca City, OK and Elaine (Del) Baars of El Mirage, AZ; aunt, Deloris Wegleitner of Cloquet; and many extended family and friends. Visitation will be from 5 - 7 p.m., Tuesday, May 1, 2018 in Atkins-Northland Funeral Home, 801 14th Street, Cloquet. Visitation will continue Wednesday, from 10:00 until the 11:00 a.m. Funeral Service in Our Savior's Lutheran Church, 615 12th Street, Cloquet. Burial will be in Sunrise Memorial Cemetery, Hermantown.
