Marjorie Lucille Lamb

Marjorie Lucille Lamb, 95 of Cloquet, formerly of Culver died Sunday, February 24, 2019. She was born in Duluth on December 27, 1923 to Oscar and Esther Bong. She married Lester Lamb on August 30, 1941. She was a long time member of Faith Lutheran Church in Culver. She moved to Larson Commons in Cloquet in 1989. Marjorie worked with handicapped children as a Foster Grandparent from 1989 to 2000. Marjorie was preceded in death by her husband, Lester; sister, Jeannette Bong; brothers, Ray, Kenneth, Carl, Lloyd, Russell and Donald Bong. She is survived by her sons, Chester (Sandy) Lamb, Stanley (Cheryl) Lamb and Rodney (Amy) Lamb; daughter, Kathy Douglas; sister, Louise Grant; sisters-in-law, Helen Bong, June Bong and Carol Bong; 13 grandchildren; 22 great grandchildren; 25 great great grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews. The family would like to thank North Shore Estates for their loving and compassionate care of Marjorie. Visitation: 10:00 a.m. until the 11:00 a.m. funeral service, Friday, March 1, 2019 in Faith Lutheran Church in Culver. A time of lunch and fellowship will follow the service.
