Michael Joseph Line, 63 of Barnum passed away on Wednesday, April 10, 2019 in Essentia Health St. Mary's in Duluth with his loving family by his side. He was born October 2, 1955 in Cloquet to Hugh and Renee Line. Mike grew up in Wrenshall and graduated from Wrenshall High School in 1974. He received his Bachelor's Degree in Engineering from the University of Minnesota. On September 16, 1978 Mike married Terry Baker in Proctor. Mike's work took them to several places throughout the country, including Illinois, Maryland and the Twin Cities. In 1999 they moved to Barnum where Mike and Terry started their own business, Ttek Assemblies Inc. Mike was a member of the Republican Party of Carlton County/Northern MN. He enjoyed working on computers and cooking. His greatest joy came from being a husband, father and grandfather. He was an animal lover and also enjoyed his grand puppies. Mike was preceded in death by his father, Hugh Line. He is survived by his wife of 40 years, Terry; daughter, Amber (Nicholas) Hedlund of Cloquet; son, Michael Line of Barnum; his mother, Renee Line of Minneapolis; brother, Hugh (Kathy) Line Jr. of Pewaukee, Wisc.; sister, Kay (Dave) Tellinghuisen of Richfield; three grandchildren, Chase, Kaleigh and Wren Hedlund; and several nieces and nephews. Visitation: 10 until the 11:00 a.m. Memorial Service Tuesday, April 16, 2019 in the Atkins Northland Funeral Home, Cloquet.
