Verona Mabel Krohn, 89, of Cloquet, died Tuesday, August, 27, 2019 in Barnes Care Assisted Living in Esko. She was Born on November 18, 1929 in Mahtowa to Eugene and Mabel Cook. Verona married Wilmer "Willy" Irving G. Krohn on July 26, 1952 in St. Paul's Lutheran Church, Cloquet. Verona had been a Secretary in the Oil Refinery industry. She was a long-time member of St. Paul's Lutheran Church in Cloquet. Verona loved to bowl and she and her husband, Willy, traveled all over the US to attend bowling events. She loved to Garden and spend time outdoors. Verona knit sweaters with her sister, Stella, and in true Krohn "fashion" she gifted them to children in need. Verona was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Willy Krohn; and sister, Stella Cook. Verona is survived by her very special friends, Dave and Shelly Anderson and their families who unselfishly gave of their love, friendship and assistance to Willy and Verona. Visitation will be from 5:00 until the 6:00 Funeral Service, Tuesday, September 3, 2019 in St. Paul's Lutheran Church, Cloquet. Burial will be in Hillside Cemetery, Carlton.
