November 20th, 1933 - August 27th, 2019
Norman Edward Morrison, 85, of Cloquet, died after a courageous battle with multiple myeloma on Tuesday, August 27, 2019 in St. Luke's Hospice in Duluth. He was born November 20, 1933 in Cloquet to Joseph and Ella (Butzer) Morrison. Norman married Marlene Becklin on January 22, 1955 in Cloquet. Norman was a devoted husband to Marlene for 64 years. Norman was a member of the Lake Superior Chippewa Grand Portage Band. He was a "All Star Bowler" and a MN senior Champion in horseshoe. Norman was preceded in death by his parents; son, Sherman; and siblings, Gustav, Merlin, Leona, and Maxine. He is survived by his wife, Marlene; daughter, Cynthia Morrison McCorison, sons; Jeffrey, Joseph, and David Morrison; grandchildren, Rickchelle (Greg) Baron, Justin Morrison, Amber (Carl) Grussendorf, Clinton McCorison Sr., Kayla Morrison ; great grandchildren, Eva, Garret, Grant, Clinton Jr., Allie, and Colton. Visitation will be from 4:00 P.M. until the 5:00 P.M. Funeral Service, Friday, September 6, 2019 in Atkins-Northland Funeral Home. A " little lunch" will follow in the fireside room.
