Melissa Jean Randall, 56, of Cloquet died peacefully Wednesday, November 20, 2019 in St. Luke's Hospital, Duluth. Melissa was born October 25, 1963 to John and Irene Randall in Duluth. Melissa graduated from Albrook High School. She worked at Taco Johns-Steak Escape in Cloquet for many years before joining the staff at American Inn, Cloquet, where she currently worked. Melissa enjoyed Native bead work and shopping at rummage sales. Melissa was preceded in death by her parents, "Jack" and Irene Randall; nephews, John Peyton and Christopher Newville; grandparents, Martha and John Randall and Louis Smith. Melissa is survived by her Son, Shawn Elson Randall; sisters, Toni Newville and Roberta (Kent) Olson; and grandson, Nashon Giinew Randall. Traditional Funeral Service Saturday, November 30, 2019 in Fond Du Lac Head start gymnasium at 10:00 a.m. Refreshments will follow. Burial will be in New Holy Family Cemetery. Arrangements entrusted to Atkins-Northland Funeral Home, 801 14th Street, Cloquet.
