Michael William Stolberg, 61 of Cloquet passed away on Tuesday, September 15, 2020 in the Solvay Hospice House in Duluth. He was born November 1, 1958 in Guam to William and Mary (Ehrman) Stolberg. Mike grew up in Cloquet and graduated from high school in 1977. In 1979 Mike enlisted in the Army and served his country until 1983. After his discharge from the service, Mike returned to Cloquet. He worked at Morning Star Wood Products from 1987 until 1993 when he went to work for Potlatch. He retired from Potlatch due to illness in 2003. Mike was a member of St. Matthews Lutheran Church. He was preceded in death by his mother, Mary; and infant daughter, Briar Rose. Mike is survived by his son, Johnathan Stolberg; his daughter, Tekie Stolberg; his former wife and lifelong friend, Marcie Stolberg all of Esko; his father, William Stolberg of Cloquet; two sisters, Sandy (Rahal) Cheikh of Texas and Laurie Wick of Cloquet; and his grandson, Benjamin Stolberg.
