Jill Marie Johnson, 64, passed away unexpectedly, although peacefully, at her home in Duluth on Monday, October 26, 2020. Jill was born on July 20, 1956 in Duluth to Barbara Louise (Juntunen) Johnson and Wayne Edward Johnson. Jill attended Carlton High School and was a proud graduate of the Class of 1974. She has two daughters Charity (Benjamin) Morrow and Emily Hemphill and six grandchildren who were the light of her life: Ayden, Aaliyah, Carter, Adalyn, Acassia and Eva. Jill loved her family with every ounce of her soul and will be with them always. As she would always say: "Grandma loves you guys!" She is also survived by her four siblings, Becky Walters, Lori (Tim) Wolf, Philip Johnson, and Kirk (Rita) Johnson. Jill touched many lives throughout her time in the Carlton and Duluth area. If you would like to be notified of her memorial service please email: [email protected] and we will be sure to notify you once plans are confirmed. If you would like to honor her memory she would love for you to take some time to feed some wild birds, especially chickadees, and enjoy their company. A burial service will be held at Hillside Cemetery in Carlton, MN at a later date. To sign the guest book and offer an online tribute, see www.atkinsnorthlandfuneralhome.com
