Ginger Lyn Erkkila, 49, of Duluth passed away on Sunday March 26, 2023 in her home. She was born in Cloquet on June 13, 1973 to Leonard and Sharon Erkkila. Ginger was raised in the Cloquet/Esko area and graduated in 1992. She served in the U.S. Army. Ginger worked at UDAC as a direct support staff. She also worked in Chicopee, Massachusetts at Sunshine Village. She loved creating projects with Lego and her kitties. She was preceded in death by her parents. She will be missed by her brothers, Danial of Saginaw and Spencer of Superior; kitties, Hank and Benjamin; and extended family and friends. A Gathering of Friends and Family will be held on Saturday, April 1, 2023 from 1:00 p.m. to 3:30 p.m. at Atkins Northland Funeral Home, 801 14th Street, Cloquet.
