May 10th, 1987 - May 29th, 2023
Lee James Anderson, 36, of Cloquet, MN passed into his Father’s arms on May 29th, 2023. God sent this “special needs” child into this world to spread joy, laughter and sunshine to all that knew him. Lee attended Winterquist Elementary where his classmates accepted him unconditionally, showing him compassion, understanding and friendship. Lee graduated from Esko High School in 2007. Lee was preceded in death by his mother, Joanne; grandparents, Bruce and Lois Anderson, Lloyd and Joyce Sletten; uncle, Lee. Lee is survived by his father, Stephen Anderson (Susan Christenson); brother, Stephen (Krystal Lalonde); uncle, Tim (Laura) Anderson; aunts, Debby (Tim) Price, Gail Bennett, Susan Sletten, Sandra Jones; cousins, Abraham, Nathanial, Rebecca, Michael, Matthew, Lucas, Alissa, Kimberly, Karly, Dustin and Aric. Our family extends a special thank you to the loving, caring staff of the Pine Ridge Cedar Home where Lee resided for the past 23 years. Your outstanding care enriched Lee’s life immensely, we are forever grateful. Thank you to the Solvay Hospice staff for the comfort care provided to Lee. Visitation: 10:00am until the Memorial Service begins at 11:00am on Tuesday, July 11, 2023 at Atkins-Northland Funeral Home, 801 14th Street, Cloquet. Cake and coffee will follow the service.
