Dorothy M. Cordes

Dorothy Medved Cordes passed peacefully at Timber Hills Presbyterian Homes, IGH, MN, on January 19, 2022, surrounded by much of her immediate family. She was born October 5, 1919, in St. Paul, MN. She was preceded in death by husband, Clarence William Cordes, and son, Peter William Cordes. She is survived by sons, David Cordes, Robert Cordes, Carl Cordes, daughter, Janet Cordes Sell, and beloved sister, Donna Medved Kidder; grandchildren, James Cordes, Mark Cordes, Judy Sell Nelson, Jacqueline Sell Larsen, Jeffrey Sell, Jon Sell, Amy Cordes, Eric Cordes, Cole Cordes, Corry Cordes, Andrea Cordes Metz, Allison Cordes Mezzera, and 23 great grandchildren. All those who knew Dorothy as mother, grandmother, great grandmother, family, or friend recognized a life lived to the fullest and with a deep Christian faith. She was an 80-year member of St. Paul's First Christian Church. A Celebration of Life will be held at Salem Lutheran Church, 11 Bernard Street W, WSP, MN, on Saturday, May 21, 2022, at 11:00 am.
