Eleanor M. Hynan (nee DeJarlais) Affectionately known as: ELLIE, Mom, Nana, Double Nana. Ellie was born on April 25, 1924 in Minneapolis, MN. After graduating Patrick Henry High School, she began her working life in banking and as a professional model. She was creative with her arts and crafts work, and loved baking, cooking, and entertaining family and friends. She was an extremely dedicated wife and mother. Ellie was a cornerstone of the Hynan Chiropractic Clinic, the health care practice she helped build in St. Paul with her husband, Dr. William (Bill) Hynan. Ellie is preceded in death by her husband, Dr. William (Bill) Hynan; parents, Edward E. DeJarlais and Eleanor DeJarlais (nee Cordell); brother, Dr. Ralph A. DeJarlais. She is survived by her 4 children; Patrice Hynan (Robert Scharber), Gregory Hynan (Suzanne), Mary Hynan, and John Hynan (Eva); her brother, Edward J. DeJarlais; 8 grandchildren, and 10 great- grandchildren; also other relatives. Mass of Christian Burial 11:00 AM Friday October 29th at St. Rose of Lima Catholic Church, Roseville. Visitation 2 hours prior to mass (9:00-11:00 AM) at church. Private interment at Resurrection Cemetery. Memorials preferred to St. Rose of Lima Catholic Church or Little Sisters of the Poor. Mass of Christian Burial 11:00 AM Friday (10/29) at St. Rose of Lima Catholic Church, Roseville. Visitation 2 hours prior to mass (9:00-11:00 AM) at church. Private interment at Resurrection Cemetery. Memorials preferred to St. Rose of Lima Catholic Church or Little Sisters of the Poor.
